I think this one is a good job! Dessert noodles are actually already quite a popular thing in Asian countries, serving as a refreshing contemporary dessert or just snacks. It seems many people on the other half of the world aren't used to it yet and really doubtful about this presentation, but really putting them into noodles (or pasta)-like shape is just another way to experiment with the texture of the bite. I guess they might be offended or feeling misguided by the use of pasta term? Which I can understand. Anyway if you are still doubtful about 'agar-agar', it's actually healthy! It doesn't actually have a particular taste unless you add sugar or flavorings to it so it's really just to build the consistency. They are actually very rich in fiber (mostly are just processed seaweed) and have very very low calorie so they make a healthy, light and refreshing snack. They're actually served the same as jelly here, sometimes with fruits.

What always irritates me with some of your videos is: #1 You don't often try your recipes on camera, #2 I would like an accurate recipe, #3 You can do this come up with something interesting that I (as a layman chef would actually have the ingredients for in my kitchen. i CANT do this, I have to amazon some agar agar.

You know, I've had many Asian desserts made of agar and the stuff is only ok to me. While it's relatively flavorless, the texture doesn't seem like it would be all that palatable. The chocolate spaghetti on that Ron Popeil pasta maker infomercial sounds way, way tastier than this would be.

This guy is a unlikable condescending douche they are trying so hard to make viral videos but rely on ingredients like Nutella. truffle. caviar etc to draw attention opposed to actual ability and a knowledge of what flavour and texture works! Gummy Nutella pasta and dry ass coconut NO!

Why did he do this even though he is not sold on the idea of the Nutella pasta? I guess someone at Capital One saw something like this somewhere and demanded he do something on dessert noodles.

Or, you could just skip all of that nonsense and smear a big spoonful of nutella onto a fresh strawberry, and eat a couple of those. Less time, no clean up, same taste.

I'd rather experiment with something like adding cocao powder into some pasta dough and making actual pasta rather than making. chocolate raindrop cake?
