Love this episode and not trying to be dismissive but Jacques Pepin is not only an amazing chef but a very fine artist and adds his water colors (of food) in some of his cookbooks. I can't believe _Simple and Healthy Cooking_ was published in 1994. It's one of my favorites.

Eric Ripert made a book with that style before, he would make a dish and his painter friend would paint the food. Great way of presenting food in a book. The book is A Return To Cooking by Eric Ripert, Michael Ruhlman, and Valentino Cortazar. Great book!
