Love your clever twist of words. and Soo glad to see indigenous people regaining their culture and pride. and I have felt for years that one, maybe the main reason diabetes and other conditions are rampant is because the food was taken away and replaced with unhealthy, cheap commodities

Beautiful view, the Cherokee is the best place to start, that's the youngest generation, food is similar to squirrels, nuts, fruits, vegetables, fish, bear, squirrel and that's about it. YOU are PART of the TWELVE TRIBES, you would be pride of America. Not me, I'm from Italy.

I love this video. It would have been cool with native produced music as the background, but I don't think the music is really a problem and it didn't affect my experience watching very much. The filming and angles were great, and obviously the topic and content was amazing.

This brought me to tears. I remember going on a trip to the Lakota Sioux tribe at Pine Ridge to help build a community center. There is so much valuable culture and knowledge being lost, and it warms my heart to see this chef working to bring it back to life.

For Columbus day I did some research on restaurants that specialized in Indigenous foods. Guess what? I didn't find any in the Tri-State area. I hope that changes soon. P. S. The soundtrack for this was way generic and predictable. Otherwise, great post.

The Sioux chef! Just shows when you stay true to your roots and continue to appreciate what is here, great things happen! Cant wait to see what comes of the non profit, and maybe get a taste of their food someday soon!
