Whole Roasted Korean Chicken Sitting on Crispy Rice and Corn K-Town

At Nurungji in Dallas, they're putting together a chicken dish that host Matthew Kang has never seen before. It all starts with a wood-burning rotisserie oven where chickens are stuffed with rice and roasted whole; the rice then comes out and is flattened and crisped up, just waiting for the crispy chicken. The deal is sealed with corn and cheese. The question is, what does it taste like?

The closest imagination that i can think of to compare the rice crust is the leftover burned crust of nasi goreng at the end of SEA cooking. Yeah maybe. Flavored rice burnt to crust

Seoul Garden for imo best korean charcoal bbq in dallas, ecclesia for best korean bakery in dallas, cham juk for best juk in dallas, and escape for best dduk in Dallas.

They have since added a delicious Korean chicken and rice soup. Half a chicken with variety of veggies and the crispy rice. It is SOOOOOOO. GOOD!

I'm high as shit right now and just looked up flights from Sacramento to Dallas out of curiosity. Yeah, I'm gonna be in Sac for awhile. This looks AMAZING!

2: 12 Comparing the cheesy nurungji to the crust of Detroit style pizza seems perfect. And yup, crispy rice in general is awesome, e. g. paella soccarat.

Why is it always Korean-Americans who are innovating Korean food? Maybe its the culture that doesnt prevent you from having different ideas?

1: 55: The word you're looking for there is scorched rice, when rice has been deliberately overcooked until it morphs into a crunchy cake.
