Naomi's Garden, in Miami, Florida, started as a health food depot in the 1980s. Soon after opening, the Haitian staff of Naomi's began cooking Haitian food out of the store

I don't believe all that food from Naomi's is vegan. I'm haitian and i know(I've ate these meals before) not everything on the menu is not something you want to eat on the daily. Maybe some foods are fine but you will gain weight lol. It is much better than other foods. I am proud of this restaurant and what they have done for the community!

All of you are complaining because the owner us not Haitian, I get that. However the owner is an entrepreneur/a business man he took opportunity where he sees it, it's not his faults it's not own by a Haiti businessman. A lot of the things in Haiti are not own by Haitian.

Black people WAKE UP! Stop working for these non-black people. cooking food from your culture. while creating wealth for other non-black people. This family is from Israel for God's sake. Get your own business and create your own wealth for you own people!

This warmed my heart, but I must admit. it is disappointing that the Haitian employees dont own the business. honestly, THEY COULD HAVE BEEEEEEEN opened their own business - if they wanted to. and it would have put Naomi's out of business.

I see youtube videos of people eating olive wagyu A5 steak and have no idea what it tastes like. It doesn't make me salivate like watching hot dogs with nacho cheese on them. I like this show because it has to do with foods I am familiar with.

I used to buy food from them back in the day when they were the only restaurant that would sell a good plate of Haitian food for about 3. And the ladies are so nurturing, it feels like Im getting food from a family member.

Food is suppose to bring people together it always has been just like the famous artwork of da Vinci. The last supper. It brought everybody together and if u dont understand any of that your really not a foodie

There are only 2 classes: the worker class and the owner class. The owner class collects rent. The worker class is the one that actually does the work. Only one class is useful. The other is a parasite.

I love how Lucas always squeezes in an anecdote from the time he spent in El Salvador. Seems like it was a meaningful experience to him. Plus, they're fun to hear about. Like the roosters hahaha
