Wow! What a beautiful cake! It looks amazing on camera, and it really captures the feeling for autumn/fall. I love that you used fresh pumpkin in such an easy way - I always find it off-putting when I see recipes with canned pumpkin (or canned anything really. Your method is just as easy as using canned pumpkin, so there's no excuse for using canned: )

If I reduce the sugar, does that change the texture or it will be just fine? I want to make this for my father's birthday so I hope he can enjoy my cake without worrying the sugar. Your cake is beautiful like always!

Ok. so I couldn't comment on the video earlier because I was in a meeting. lol. But, this is so pretty and screams fall. pumpkins are expensive here so I'm going to see if they have pre-cut pumpkin pieces. -

Note to anyone who buys a fresh pumpkin for cooking if you're American don't get one of the large carving pumpkins they're really not grown for cooking but for carving. You want a smaller pumpkin.
