After intense forensic analysis I have concluded that you actually picked up the piece of green onion, not the cilantro stem. There is a piece of green onion that resembles a stem in the previous shot that sticks up, then it collapses by the time you start sprinkling the cilantro on, when a piece of cilantro landed on it, the stem-like structure of the green onion sprang up, making it appear to be a cilantro stem, that is why the green onion came with the cilantro, or rather, the cilantro came with the green onion.

First like! I love zucchini! Just made tacos for dinner, using 85% ground beef with taco seasonings, a low sodium, good beef stock, more than what I needed, just to add some mashed potato to thicken up the sauce. Used a flour tortilla that I placed over the pan while cooking to warm and moisten the tortilla. Added sharp cheddar, sweet corn kernels, and lettuce. Haven't made creme fraiche yet so I used sour cream. Next time will get some zucchini and follow this recipe!

First like! I love zucchini! I usually only eat zucchini in bread form or breaded and fried, but I may try this. I just wish I wasn't lactose intolerant, or I would be all about the cheese. I have an idea of how to make this using guacamole instead of cheese, or maybe refried beans with sirracha stripes? That drawing out the moisture technique may have been the turning point for me. Because at first, I wasn't even going to watch the video. I was wrong. This sounds like it could be incredible.

I have a question john. What exactly is sour cream in america? Here in germany, there is saure sahne which literally translates to sour cream and is more like a creme fraiche, but they also sell sour cream which has some herbs and other stuff in it and feels more like a dip. Ive always wondered what murrican chefs actually mean when they say sour cream.

I made a bunch of zucchini boats a month ago cause I had a lot of zucchini from my garden that needed used up so I was eating them for several meals straight. gave me the worse gas cramps and wicked sh1ts I have ever had.

Delicious! Am willing to do this with zucchini for family and friends but for myself, golden summer squash. Loooove it. Will make this over weekend. Love the idea of adding black beans and corn. You are a jewel.

Or, no meat at all. This would have been a great recipe to do an all veg side by side, double recipe showcase. Taco style dishes are very easy to make vegetarian without sacrificing any richness.

Whenever I want to try a new recipe I check to see if Chef John did a video for it first and if I don't find it I make the most similar recipe he has done with those ingredients.

OMG! My mother used to use tomato meat sauce and used homegrown giant zucchini topped with cheese. MAN. this brings me back. Ahhhhhh. the 70's.
