Hmmm interesting. a few weeks back when i had the flu and was feeling too sick to go outside for food-shopping i made something in this style, but i made a dobble decker with 3 slices of toast. And i just used what i found in the almost empty fridge: ham, tomatoe slices, sour pickle slices, a fried egg and a slice of melted cheese. Its always good to have some Toast-bread in the house!

Gosh, that looks absolutely delicious. Julienning carrots is something I'm still not quite used to, but I definitely want to try this out ASAP! I'd imagine this would be brilliant with some thick slices of homemade milk bread.

I don't think I could fully articulate how much I appreciate the fact you aren't the type to try to be cute-sy by using the word Sammich instead.

This recipe is so strange to me. All familiar ingredients combined into a mutant frankensandichwich that according to the other comments is apparently good and normal in another place. I have to try it

Oh my God what appetizing sandwich that is.

Do not mess up this sandwich by using bread which has any nutritional value whatsoever no worries Chef John I'm making it with croissant bread.

This looks amazing and my mouth is watering, but I am not going to send this to my wife. She'd struggle with that pushing of edges over and up, and that would be all my fault! :)
