My housemate and I made this as a celebration of our Sunday. We were looking forward to this all day. Most will recognize this situation of looking forward to something for a while and it just doesn't reach your expectation? That wasn't the case here. Afterward finishing our meals, we both looked at each other and said: I can't believe how good those potatoes were. They were so good it felt like a dream. For the coming hour we were nearly screaming about how good they tasted. You did not lie. These are the best potatoes and it will be very hard to go back to different potatoes from here on. Thank you and God bless

I tried to make these, and they had a very unusual flavor. I used 2 teaspoons lemon zest and the juice of one lemon as per the blog post. I guess i was just unprepared for how strong the lemon would be. The potatoes tased almost sour, especially on the outside. So to anyone else planning on making these, I just want you to know that the lemon is not a very subtle flavor, and if you wanted a more traditional savory potato maybe you should consider tweaking the amount of lemon you use accordingly.

I hope I don't get hate for this comment, but. I find it a little difficult to listen to your voice, haha. It's not. monotone, but it has that higher pitch -> lower pitch tone in every sentence. Anyways, apart from that, these look absolutely amazing. I really want to try to make them this week, and I think I will Thank you so much for the video

I just made this and my complaints: don't add too much cayenne pepper as it overpowers the other flavors, add very little. it takes longer to evaporate/absorb off the liquid than this video lets on. it actually took an hour of flipping (not including first 20 min) to work down the liquid to get the appearance he has in the video.

I tried the recepie, but my liquid didn't all get sucked up by the potato's and I think I used not enough lemon, so do not hold that back in your first go. It tasted nice anyway because the pepper, canyenne and salt were fine, the potato's were tender, but I am not sure if the chickenbroth+emulsion did it's thing.

HyIts like an old engine of 100 years trying to run >This is all about your audio. So you can imagine how much words I have been able to pick out of it. Try to find someone able to narrate your video next time. Your video is perfect by the way. But unfortunately I shall never be able to your recipe.

Chef, I love your recipes, but you gotta get rid of that whistle in your throat and you might want to consider diction classes to better manage the octave rangein your voice-overs so that its a little easier on the ears. Reference: Sir Richard Attenborough. ==

Overall good looking recipe Although I enjoyed watching, that constant upward voice inflection is pretty hard to listen to for 8 min lol. Also, I wouldn't use nearly that much oil. Too many extra calories O_O.

You guys are right. He sounds drunk when you slow down the speed. Most videos do, but he was an especially funny drunk. Slowing it down also helped me follow the recipe better as I cooked these potatoes.

We just finished eating this recipe with a bit of cheddar, feta, and bacon on top and it's the best potato dish I think I've ever tried. Definitely adding this one to my cook book #forkdontlie
