You know those days you don't want to grind? Those days you come up with any little excuse to get out of the work? Those are the days you have to grind the hardest. Stop listening to that weak voice that tells you you need to take a break, you're doing too much. More times than not, that voice is lying to you. Push through that discomfort and find new levels of yourself. You'd be amazed at what you're capable of if you go all out and push yourself to the limits. Think about how great you'll feel at the end of the day, knowing you gave it your all.

Looks delicious. I do something similar with my turkey trimmings to make extra gravy for holiday meals. I break my turkey down and debone the breast to roast it so I end up with bones and skin. I also save some of the drippings to include in my stuffing which I make in a slow cooker. That gives it a more cooked in the bird flavour. I m going to get some beef bones and try this. Somehow, we never have enough gravy. Thank you.

I'm just wondering, could you use already cooked ribs as a start? Such as, Baby Back Ribs and boil them in the veggies like you have done here. Or, maybe, those same BBRibs but as Bar-be-que to make a gravy with a BBQ flavor? --- I will have to try this gravy that you have shown because it would go great with potatoes, or rice, or even southern biscuits!

Time to ask the butcher for those bones. In a recession proof culinary dish to truly enjoy this looks absolutely delicious.
I'm sure I could make a meal out of the gravy along with my freshly baked bread.

A Norwegian might add a few slices of Brown Whey Cheese (Brunost) to the gravy to add flavour.
Having said that we tend to cook onions and carrots in brown roux sauces. Only carrots in white sauces.

When making a beef gravy like this, a tiny trick is to do final seasoning with soy sauce. It can really take the meatiness over the top. Double trick for beefing (hehe) up a mushroom gravy for vegetarians

I honestly think this is best over fried chicken or chicken fried steak. I have worked at really good restraunts went to Raising Cane's and just poured this over chicken strips and it is fantastic.

Looks wonderful! But gnawing on the bones alone in the kitchen like an animal my favorite part of making a prime rib roast. Not sure if I'm willing to give that up for gravy.

This looks wonderful! However, I would have probably tried to deglaze the sheet pan after the bones, vegetables, and fat were removed and add that liquid to the stock.

Horseradish is my preferred topping for prime rib but I ll definitely be using the gravy for other dishes. Maybe a world class poutine.
