Holy Smoke Food Tubers DJ BBQ s got a fish-tastic recipe guaranteed to get your gills flapping. Whole Sea Bream grilled to perfection over an open flame, basted with a garlic and lemon butter and served with crushed new potatoes. Simply delicious! All cooked up at the Burgau Beach Bar in Southern Portugal where this beautiful fish dish was first created

Looks incredible. Simply done without too much seasoning, so that the bream's flavour retains its integrity. Also crushed baby potatoes and lemon/garlic butter are the bomb! Have you ever tried Snoek? It's a fish caught in southern African waters and has a very unique taste. It belongs to the snake mackerel family and I recommend that you put it on your list of must try fish! Capetonian fish and chips made with Snoek are mind-blowing. In any case, thanks for sharing mate.

Dudes, DJ BBQ abides. DJ BBQ teaches us not only how to cook, but how to enjoy life. And both go together. You cannot cook properly while taking yourself seriously. Stop with the negativity. Look for the truth in his attitude, curiosity, versatility while remaining true to his roots. Hats off to you Sir BBQ.

I'm new to cooking fishes. What other common fishes will this recipe work on? And grilling is kind of a no go where I live so is it possible to recreate this dish with a ribbed grill pan on a stove? Thanks and cheers

Loving this food of Algarve! This recipe corresponds to what I had this summer in Portugal! Coriander is usually more used than parsley. Some vegetables could have been added. But not mandatory to eat: -)

My beautiful country on it's best! This is what we do eat all summer long. Just great fresh fish on the grill, cooked very simply, eaten outside, while enjoying the sun.
