What could be better than spicy prawns and beer. Pawns without the shell on. If the flavour is so good? Add the prawn heads separately and then remove before serving. That way, you get all the flavour without the messy fingers. If your serving this to your mates with beer, there will be sticky finger prints all throughout your house. Beer drinks tend to forget napkins. I'm guilty! I'm definitely trying this recipe though.

I much prefer this video persona to your Food Busker one John. A lot less aggressive and relaxed. It made for a very easy watch. I hope you do more videos like this. Time to get some King Prawns. P. S. I do watch all your Food Busker videos, I particularly liked the wood fired pizza episode. I personally think the persona given in this video is an easier and more welcoming one.

pilsner urquell is my favorite social drinking and getting hammered-beer nowadays. a little more expensive than any other beer(1. 6euro per liter iirc) but so much flavor. pretty mellow to be honest but i dislike extraordinary sharp or bitter beers. the beer that resembles fluid bread the Most in my opinion. also always a little weed-like taste due to the green bottle: D

Wow! Just listening to you talk made me hungry, but more so very thirsty! Have Grolsch Lentebok, Grolsch Kanon, Grolsch IPA, Brand Pilsener, Brand Zwaar Blonde, Brand IPA and Duvel Tripel in the fridge. Pilsner Urquell is very good, but Heineken is soulless IMHO. Think I'm going to polish off my stock this long weekend! Happy days!

3: 27 these are ready you have cut from turning them over, to these are ready but you haven't mentioned a time scale? so how long did you actually cook them? 3 mins, 3 hours, 3 days if you are showing us what to do, then cutting from one scene to another doesn't help. apart from that, it was a very good video. Thank you. Colin.

John, this shouldn't be on Food tube. Frying a few prawns with no twist? Boring lagers to go with it, while there are so many breweries with much much more character-beers? Seving this with plain white bread? Do don't this, John. Stay in your top-league of chefs who cook with twists and keep amazing us.

I didnt care about the beer but i made this dish and it was delicious! Definitely will leave the shells on the next time I cook prawns. Do much more flavour and so easy! The cut at the back also makes peeling later on much easier. Who else thinks half the fun in eating prawns is in peeling?

why not grate the chilli and garlic and mix it with the butter? then smear the butter on the open's prawns. I usually suck on the head of the prawns so I guess removing the head and stuffing some of those flavoured butter in as well? sounds better to me.

I made this for my wife and she said it was one of the best thing she ever had! So much flavor. leave the shell on! The wife cannot handle heat, yet this was fine cause cooking the pepper dials the heat down. The beer is an absolute must!
