Pasta Frittata Gennaro Contaldo Valerio: Always eat this when I was young in Naples on the beach. Back then it was still legal to take tellins from the sea, so after a quick lunch with pasta frittata we were sitting in the sea (low tide) with our hands in the sand and collect them in bottles. By the time we were home they were clean of sand and ready to be cooked with spaghetti, parsley and olive oil. Another nice variation of this recipe is to use different kinds of pasta (like maccheroni or penne) or to put tomatoes inside the mix, to transport it easier when you go on a pic-nic.

- Super excited to see that this is almost exactly how I make it too except that I use fewer tomatoes and add the basil before the oven. Love this recipe. Serve a slice with some warm marinara on the plate, adds one more dimension. Loved the enthusiasm by Gennaro Contaldo as always. Easily one of my most favorite chefs on YouTube.

On the US Amazon site, the Food Tube pasta book is only available as an eBook, much to my disappointment. I used the link in the video annotation that took me to the UK site, and I was still able to order a physical copy seamlessly with my US credit card. Awesome!

I make this with leftover pasta quite often and my boyfriend always says eggs and leftover pasta is not a thing Now I can refer him to this video while I eat the whole pie myself! Haha

Personally, I cocked it and I didn't find it very delicious. It lacks of taste. It tasted like pasta with a slight egg flavour. Definitely needs some tuning. Any suggestions? :)

I love this kind of recipe! they should make more things like this, student friendly. and maybe even microwave friendly since people make lunchboxes for work and school and stuff!

Perfect combination between my east-europe mother's recipe and my love to Italian cooking and joy-of-life, + one-year of living in Italy. Bravo and thanks for uploading.

This reminds me of the Spanish tortilla so much. Love to see how the traditional dishes are always about recycling and using natural products they used to have in hand.
