Hello Food tube this is Elio from Lebanon, I am a hospitality student and i am open to new suggestion on the traditional recipes and i admit this is nice: ) although i would have 2 concerns the Tabouleh dressing is to little the tabbouleh we make is known to be very juicy. and second the falafel are more like a twist on a hummus, i would have went for soaked raw chickpeas, and grilled my Falafel then crumble them over the salad it gives texture and flavor. I would be more than happy if you visit us here in Lebanon at my university where we do a lot of interesting cooking: ) keep up the good work: ) and Go Alex!

Gorgeous recipe Alex! Must try that Tabouleh one time! Although i have to agree with people, the camera work is quite sloppy in the beginning, although it become alright in the end. I dont know what causes the great amount of shaking around, but it is a shame! Also, although Alex is a good looking guy, we would like to see what he is doing, instead of his face. When watching something like this, one tried to learn all one can, from cutting to the amounts. It also puts less stress on Alex to talk all the time, and entertain.

It seems that most people here don't understand that this is Alex's twist on Tabuleh and Falafel. I thought it was pretty obvious when he mentioned that it was raw falafel. I think it is a great twist and very friendly for us to make at home since actual falafel would take more time and is not as portable as this raw interpretation. Ignore the comments Alex; some people are just miserable and try to make others miserable too.

People calm down, so what if Alex made a few modifications! Even between different Middle-Eastern and North African countries, we have a wide variety of takes on this and every other dish from the region. Take your complaints and hate somewhere else. Alex, it's always a joy watching your positive & happy videos! Looking forward to your next one! :)

I really like experementing myself. Love giving dishes my own twist. But when I see as an Arab of Syria what you call Tabbouleh I really suggest that the national dish of Lebanon and Syria should have a patent on it. It really makes my eyes hurt when I see you putting cucumbers, yellow tomatoes and soooo much mint in it. And please no coriander! ;)

First of all just a correction from someone who eats different tabouleh on a daily basis. 1. Do not rougly chop cut everything finer but not too fine. 2. Use atleast 1 and half lemon for that. 3. Paprika works great in it as well. 4. Do not use quinoa. If you want gluten free find gluten free burgol.

Do falafel generally have cashews or was that to make them stay together better raw? I'm just curious because I've eaten a lot of falafel and I'm quite allergic to cashews so maybe I'm cured of my allergy and didn't even know it. Not that I'm going to go testing this theory. lol

Personally I think it is more important to have a large herb ratio in the falafel rather than the tabouleh, a mouth full of herb salad is kinda off putting, but breaking into that classic green filling of the falafel is just beautiful

Interesting take on Tabuleh, we don't add cucumber nor mint and it's normally chopped very finely, especially the greens; ) Whatever. Love anything green+ tomatoes and even better if lemon & olive oil added Thanks for demo!

This is the first video that I disliked for Alex! He ruined the Taboulah, the parsley, tomatoes, mint and the onion should be kind of finely chopped. he was so poor with the dressing, Taboulah needs more lemon and olive oil.
