Ingredients: Smoked salmon Mascarpone (buy here: ) Sushi grade salmon (buy here: ) Avocado Nori (seaweed paper) Cooked sushi rice: Utensils for sushi: Sushi rolling mat Cling flim Sushi knife (buy here: ) Plastic bag for rolling mat Summary of recipe: 1. Spread out 150g of cooked sushi rice on half a sheet of nori 2. Flip over and place on sushi rolling mat with plastic bag 3. Add mascarpone, avocado and fresh sushi grade salmon 4. Rolling the sushi 5. Add mascarpone on top as glue 6. Add smoked salmon on top of the roll 7. Fix in place with cling film 8. Cut the sushi roll with a sharp sushi knife 9. Present on a plat with some wasabi, ginger and soya sauce 10. Call yourself a sushi chef

Ah Davy man. awesome. Now I've gotta stop at the store on the way home. There's just nothing better on the hottest days of summer. No oven, sweat or dishes. not much is even leaving my cutting board. How about some roe too man. It's one of my favorite additions that seems hit or miss in restaurants unless it's ordered as a totally separate item. Most usually respond to me like I've asked for something real bizarre. Suggestions/kinds/how to's all good. Thanks man.

I like everything in your videos. Beautiful! I really love japanese food and tradition. I actually love everything. Only thing, i watcehd some japanese guy with sushi and the proper cutting is in one draw with knife starting with the edge of the knife (one where the grip is) and pulling knife with your entire hand back. So one draw and fast. Of course you need to have really sharp and quaility (japanese) knifes. All in all beautiful video and recipies. : )

OMG I loved this sushi roll! Can you please please make a video about where the necessary utensils and ingredients can be found to make sushi rolls? I live in Toronto. Its okay if you can't say specific places. Just give ideas. It would mean a LOT! Thank you.

Doesn't it have to be frozen to kill the worms? When we are salmon fishing on the boat during summer we eat tons of it. I kinda get sick of it. We cook it in almost any form you can think of. I'll leave the sushi and sashimi to the pros though

Haha throw away pieces when I make sushi I usually eat since I hate to waste products! :) The excess pieces are like a taste test to see how you are doing; ) While you serve the regular pieces to friends, guests, family, or a restaurant: )

It bothers me how wasteful this guy is, you don't need plastic wrap to do it well, you need to practice and buy a good knife. And you can easily shape it using better technique so you don't have to throw away part of the food.

I've made this kind of sushi many times. It's so good! I actually alway eat the end piracies. I'm always full before I can eat the sushi. And because I'm such a greedy bastard I make a lot! of sushi. Nom nom.

Bro why so much rice? The thing is that when someone eats that roll, it'll be a mouth full of rice. You know what I mean? They won't be able to enjoy the rest of the ingredients with so much rice in their mouths

It was very useful that you mentioned putting the bamboo mat in the zip bag as well as putting the cling on before cutting. Learnt some new techniques here-thank you! Made the sushi tonight and they were lovely.
