Yes grape seed oil is great for frying, you need to make sure of 2 things to get the noodles to wrap round properly, 1) oil has to be hot enough to make them expand instantly 2) when you add the noodles to the chicken with batter make sure to add even more than will actually stick to the batter, so to clarify you drop the chicken in the noodles then move the noodles over the chicken, then pick it out softly with more noodles then are stuck to the chicken and drop it in the oil, (continued)

consider this if you buy a cook book that will cost you probably 25, how many recipes did you get for 25 maybe 20 to 30. so that would be between 0. 833 to 1. 25 per recipe, all im asking for is 1 per recipe and i make 4 recipes a month. so that's 4 a month. I understand its difficult to justify paying for something which is free and will continue to be free, the only question you should ask your self is are you getting any value out of it? if yes then you should at-least consider it.

Yer should be good, maybe make a simple little salad on the side to balance out the meal. I would love to see the pictures. (continued) when the chicken hits the oil some of the noodles will fall off but a lot of the extra noodles will get interlocked with the noodles attached to the battered chicken. This will make the chicken nugget extremely light and crispy. hope this helps you cook this, good luck: )

I did them! They were good but the rice noodles didn't wrap chicken as on the video. I think that I didn't cut noodles rather small. To remake! I had spiced chicken with shi chimi, yumm yumm and very light and crunchy! For frying, the oil of grape pips, the best oil for that!

You do realize this video was shot over the course of 40 min to 50 min and then in editing I compressed it to 5 min. I cut out all of the none essentials like hand washing because that's just not helpful for any one trying to learn how to cook the recipe.

I think that would be great with an unagi sauce for dipping. Maybe even a spicy dynmite sauce drizzled on top. I can't wait to try this I'm going to go to the store and pick up some stuff now. Thanks. :D

I am going to do this with chicken livers. How much does this expand do you think? I see some huge ones on your board then a smaller one. I wanted to know how to get a slightly smaller size puff.

I have added chicken katsu curry to the list, cant say when it will be done since its a long list these days. all I can say is one day in the future I will cook chicken katsu curry: )
