Hi Davy I really like your vid, about the very old religious laws, religion is not like a parliament laws or congress laws, if proven a religion (what ever religion is) is forbidden some thing followers should respect that basically, Or if the law you break is a major one you no longer a follower of that religion simple is that, back to Dr5269 talking point, I'm a Muslim THERE IS NO LAW FORBIDEN A RAW FISH, some people saying so but there is different between people's opinion and what law says,

One thing you may want to consider is thinking why that law was added in to your religion and when it was added, my understanding is that these are very old laws created in a time before food could be preserved properly, so they were done to protect the people from getting ill by eating food that had gone off or had parasites in it, these laws have never been updated. and probably should be, in my opinion. But you should make up your own mind about it, its not my place to tell you what to do.

First off, I really enjoy your videos! I would like to replicate some of your recipes but I find that you use tuna in almost every video and tuna is very overfished and it is not very ethical to consume it. So my question is: could you make some more videos where you use types of fish that are more ethical to consume and more affordable? I really really enjoyed the mackerel sashimi you did for example. Keep on doing what you're doing, you are awesome! =)

You make pretty sushi but pretty sushi is one thing but a good tasting sushi is another. You never mention how important making sushi rice is. Looking at your rice it does not seem to be seasoned. You need to tell the viewers how important that is. A Famous sushi Chef Naomichi Yasuda stated a good tasting sushi is 90% rice and 10% everything else. You as a so call sushi chef should know that. yes?

Love the presentation. I however prefer my tartar creamy with some sort of mayo or I like sesame oil. I would not however use lime or any acid without cutting the acid with something sweet. A tiny bit of mango or marmalade. Not to make it to sweet but to cut the acidity, lime alone would be to sharp for my guests. Thanx for the idea I will play with it. Mike

Nice combo and idea. But always make the tartar first and that way your Nori won't hydrate and become chewy. I also do this with cucumber wrap and find that if you lay it down and layer it, it will roll up easier too. Thanks, great stuff man.
