So many years of coming up with 'something'. I figure over the years I have had to come up with breakfast, lunch & dinner 53, 655 times. Daunting, everyone needs a quick and easy no brainer meals up their sleeve.
We don't do fast food. (There is food at home) Toast and tea can be breakfast, lunch or dessert. It's faster than drive thru & cheaper too.
Scrambled eggs on toast is another 'cheater' meal. Protein, carb and throw in a piece of fruit & we've got dinner.
You're not lazy, you are smart!

They were helpful but a lot of sodium. I use the same McCormack chili seasoning only the low sodium and Buch's Chili beans in sauce along with no salt cans of tomatoes and Better than Bouillon Chili. Smokey Chipolte, Adobo sauces one to two teaspoons each it's just as easy as yours. My breakfast is Crusty Rye Toast with Tea or Coffee and one hard boiled egg. I ner eat lunch and what you do is kind of expensive for me. But I like the ideas.

Loved that intro. I made taco meat using packaged taco meat seasonings yesterday and even that was daunting. I even used ready made stand up taco shellstoo thick. That’s sacrilegious in my Mexican American heart. Lol. So, I hear you, sweetie, I hear you. Lots of love your way from our home state of Texas!

That’s the way we thawed meat way back in the old days.
I have made this type of chili forever. Quick and easy after a long day at work.
I also add cornbread muffins from a box.
Takes 15 -20 minutes
I add peanut butter to the toast and jam.
Love your honesty and recipes.

Love it! I made a variation of that chili just the beginning of the week! I needed to make dinner so that I had something to pack for lunch. I had a lb of ground beef that was hanging out in the fridge and a half jar of spaghetti sauce that was threatening to go bad.

Since you wanted people to comment our favorite type of toast, my favorite easy toast is topped with a store bought guacamole and then a fried egg. I swear that it’s actually pretty good!
P. S. thank you for all your amazing videos

Thank you for this video! I cook everything from scratch 95% of the time, homemade pasta, bread, etc. But that 5% I just can't deal with it and the world makes me feel guilty.
So, thanks for the video. I don't feel so alone now.

Chili is definitely a great one pot quick meal! I like using 1 can of pinto beans and 1 can of red kidney beans. I recently found Rotel tomato chili fixings and it is great! Great video!

Where can I get those tea bags that you used I love tea for breakfast. My husband likes Earl Grey, I like English/Irish Breakfast Tea. Thanks.

I ate leftover chili and dozens of Cheez-It crackers for dinner tonight. Normally, saltine crackers are eaten with the chili. I drank cherryade.

I love when cooks share little tips like pushing the can lid in. Things that sometimes seem intuitive are often not to the novice chef. Thank you.

Looks good and pretty much how I make chili beans in a hurry. One thing I never do is drain Rotel. That liquid is full of flavor

I'm going to attempt to make your lazy crockpot chicken drumsticks and mashed potatoes tomorrow for guests. Hope it goes well.

Easy breakfast/lunch: whole wheat pita, schmear of Greek yogurt, drizzle of honey, side of dried figs. That's ancient fuel.
