Today, I felt like making a one-pot soup, so I'm gonna show you how I make pasta e fagioli. This is not authentic or traditional, but it's good! This is also a great way to make a ground beef recipe for dinner. Craving a warm, comforting dish that's easy to make Look no further than this delicious pasta e fagioli recipe! This hearty one-pot meal is packed with flavor and perfect for a cozy night in. I've added savory ground beef and two types of canned beans for a quick and convenient dinner. It's the perfect recipe for soup season! INGREDIENTS 5 slices of bacon 1/2 medium onion 1 celery stick 1 medium carrot 2 cloves garlic 1 lb of 90/10 lean ground beef 1 Tbsp dried Italian herb blend 1/4 tsp dried thyme 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 15 oz crushed tomatoes 5 to 6 cups chicken broth (I used Swanson's brand chicken broth) 1 dried bay leaf 15 oz can small red beans (drained) 15 oz can cannellini beans (drained) 6 oz ditalini pasta (or small elbow macaroni) salt, pepper and season to taste garnish with fresh parsley, grated parmesan and extra crushed red pepper flakes How To Make Pasta Fazool Soup Recipes To Make For Dinner Easy Soup Recipes Better than Olive Garden Pasta Fagioli

Looks delicious I love to make green chili stew in the cooler months, I also make pasoley, and I love home made chili with hunny butter cornbread, New England clam chowder, broccoli cheeder cheese soup, beans with ham hock or pork neck bones with green chilies. I go to New Mexico every year and buy 50 pounds of roasted hatch green chilies and I mix them up some are mild, medium, hot but all roasted together.

Looks delicious! I love soups and could eat them all the time, if it was just me I was cooking for.
The only soups I can't eat are any seafood, shellfish, or fish based soups, as I am allergic to so many of these I don't chance any of them anymore. As a side note, I didn't develop all these allergies until later in life, started in my 30's.

I love split pea soup. I like using a nice meaty smoked ham hock from my local butcher shop. It makes the tastiest flavoring for several soups I make as well as my pinto beans. Your soup looks delicious and I’m looking forward to making it soon!

Soup must be on the mind as I just made chicken gnocchi soup for dinner tonight even though it doesn’t feel like fall here yet. This will be up next. Some of my other favorites besides these 2 are Zuppa Toscana soup & chicken noodle soup.

Great one. As. I sit here eating fresh squash soup with the burger simmering on the stove getting ready for a pot of chili. I love fall soup time. My freezer is getting full. I make big pots and freeze single serve for quick and easy meals.

I am definitely going to try this recipe! I love soup! My favorite soup recipes that I make are Zuppa Tuscana, potato soup and tomato soup. It’s so much better than canned soup! Thank you so much for sharing your yummy recipes!

Thanks for this idea!
Made a nice lentil soup from the New York Times vault last week. Also, shrimp and tilapia congee using instant pot brown rice cooked in better than bullion lobster base. All great and easy.

Last week I made a vegetarian version of this for the first time. I used tomato paste and cannellini beans. It was good but next time I'll try canned tomatos and add more liquid because it came out really thick.

Looks delicious! I make this same soup, learned from watching my mother. We add a little crushed fennel seed. In our family it was [is] called 'Big Soup'.

Love this soup so much it was the cover photo for my own cookbook. Although mine had pork and beef meatballs simmered in the soup. It is always delicious.

I love lobster bisque and potato soup. Can’t eat one of my favorites any longer, that is French Onion soup. Onions don’t shred the love now.

I make something very similar to this using dry beans (navy is my favorite)
Also, I love adding sour cream instead of cheese.
