Ok you scared me for a second. Noticed you using gloves and when I saw the clip of the silver skin being pulled off I thought of Seinfeld and screamed She's got MAN HANDS. lol. But I knew all along it was hubby helping out. Just thought you might get a laugh out of that. Meal looks tasty. will try that one too.

This is a depressing post. I had a really good old school crock like this (even smaller)before my last move. I regret letting it slide. I have a giant now, and never use it, cuz it s just too much for my situation. Crazy. I let a great tool go, upgrade, and it turns out to be a giant negative.

Well you did it. You convinced an old guy who could make cornbread in his sleep to try something new. I will add cheese to the next batch I make. This is a big deal for me, because my cornbread with butter and jam is so good I eat every piece even if it is 3 days dry. Thanks.

Your beef ribs looks like they have lots of meat on them. The ones my pops buy look like something Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble would have on their plate, Strait Bones

If you use a damp paper towel to grab that silverskin and peel it off, it works great. Helps to get a good grip on it and also not tear it while peeling it off
