I missed sopa de fideo so much I opened up a box of gluten-free spaghetti and cut it up (by hand) and made it for me and my family. It was simple despite adding little potato cubes, carrots and peas (I didn't necessarily want peas I only had a bag of the combo. Nothing fancy but so good!

I made some fideo for meal prep this weekend. Added some papas and a little bit of meat. On the side I had some charro beans - that I got from your recipes! I make a big batch in the instant pot and freeze portions of them so I'm a step ahead for dinner! :)

Yum! I love making fideos! I've never added the cumin. I'll try that next time with the garlic. I make mine more thick, less soupy, and I add Mexican oregano after I add the water. Perfect dinner!

Do you ever add cheese to make homemade spaghetti o's. I found a recipe that uses cheddar cheese but it never comes out smooth. I keep saying I am going to make cheese sauce them mix it in.

Was craving fideo the other day but I didn't have any tomatoes or sauce so I used pizza sauce! It was still tasty lol

Remember that these noodles my boyfriend used to cook them for me when we lived in a motorhome you get them like for four for a dollar so yeah it brings up memories
