I'm going to show you the easiest way to make banana pudding dessert. This dessert is perfect as a next day recipe. This is easy to make and a great summer dessert idea. Ingredients 5 oz box instant banana or vanilla pudding 3 cups cold whole milk 2 to 3 large bananas 11 oz box of Nilla wafers 8 oz container of whipped topping Stay: I've been making Banana pudding for about 25 years and people love it! I make mine a little different, using sweet condensed milk and heavy whipping cream. The funny thing is, I've never liked it, I just enjoy making it for others cuz they like it!

My kids, (adults now) & grandkids simply despise any type of 'instant' puddings, saying it's just like SAND was poured into the bowl. I've tried every way possible to make it creamier, no granular texture, etc, etc. Nothing works.
They all know when they take their first bite. I've always sliced bananas fairly thin, & line them up on the highest point of the sides. YES! ONLY
'NILLA WAFERS' for banana pudding!
I will add some whipped cream on top next time I make it.
Wishing everyone a beautiful weekend.

It looks good, and I know it's what lots of people make and call banana pudding these days, but that's NOT banana pudding. Banana pudding involves making actual pudding, layering with bananas and wafers and topping with meringue.

I'll never eat anything made with anything other than real vanilla extract. Not after I've heard that companies use the stink glands on beaver butts for vanilla flavoring.

My Nana mixed the whipped topping (maybe half of the container) with the pudding before pouring over the cookies then added the extra on top. Makes it extra rich!

I use whipping cream, whip it and mix in with vanilla pudding and sweetened condensed milk. Also dip my bananas in lemon juice.
