Carnitas El Gringo - Next up, Claudio took us to a carnitas stall that specializes in the unique Pizza Aztecas. Menuderia Chela - Next up at the market you’ll find this incredibly popular stall that specializes in Jalisco style menudo, or stomach stew. Carnes Asadas Ramón - Finally right next door don’t miss Carnes Asadas Ramón for grilled beef stuffed into bread or tortillas, drenched in bean soup, and topped with fresh cream and cheese. I went to Guadalajara last year on a solo trip because I loved what I’d seen on the more touristy side of Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta the year before, and wanted to see some of real Mexico.
It’s a wonderful city for food, and even though my Spanish is subpar, for meeting people and partying. Thanks for sharing this - it’s bringing back memories of all the good food I had there!

1. The looks great with all the ingredients spices and fresh flavors 2. carnitas the size of tacos had all the right amounts of flavor and texture and ingredients to help with your meal. 3. Mondo Tortillas and a good bowl you will eat well. 4it looks delicious the meat the ingredients and texture and looks flavor.

Mark, I appreciate that you like that they let nothing go to waste. but it looked like they don't even peel the tongue before slicing and serving it. Most of what you ate in these tacos I'd have thrown in the bin. and still will. You're competing for Andrew Zimmern's job.

Funny my dad says. Back in the day a lot of people would wait behind butcher shops and supermarkets for these low end cuts of meat as they were being thrown out. Now we pay a premium. He came to Chicago in the late 60s.
