I've watched all Mark Wiens videos of his trips to the Philippines before and I must say the food was NOT very appetizing AT ALL. Mark himself looked to be struggling to keep his usual smile on his face for a lot of the dishes. Let's SEE if this video will be any different and IF the food will be any NICER!

I'm surprised you haven't gone to Bikol yet. That's right up your alley because they love spicy food. My favorite is Bikol express. But Laing is most popular I think. I'm not even Filipino lol but I lived there for 2 years. Loved everything, but Bikol express is my favorite

I understand the title of the video is called EXTREME FOOD - BUT This is FOOD that in most places in the world we would not even feed to a DOG. I'm sorry but this video further proves to me that Philippines is not the place to go if you are looking for NICE FOOD.

Putok batok! This is the phrase you use to identify these foods or rather what they ll do to you after you eat them. Nice to see you and Ying back! Hopefully you got to visit the other regions, each with their own unique dishes and versions of Filipino favorites.

I hope the family (from Mark s first stop with the organ soup) gets to keep their property. My Mom s family lost a big parcel of land in the Philippines. Sometimes the local government doesn t respect property rights and they tend to get a little grabby.

I think Filipino food is a bit unpalatable and tastes strange to the tongue of most Asians, it's very bland or like European cuisine, but it's not, and the taste is all-in-one

I think Bhen may have been punking Mark. No country just eats the throw away parts of animals. They may have some mixed in, but not ALL of their dishes.

Ah, It's been a long while since Mark came to the Philippines to try out our food, and it's also been a while since I've last watched his videos.

Mark love your content, but all you ate was guts and brains. Does no one Iike pork chops, roast and bacon? It's definitely not a healthy to eat.
