Welcome to the beautiful island of Tobago! Today we are beginning with a breadfruit roast on the beach with some amazing grilled fish and fish broth. Then we re getting a full lesson on traditional dirt oven baking in Tobago. Next you can t miss crab and dumplings when you re in Tobago, and finally we re finishing with a few street food favorites. Tobago is so beautiful, people are laid back, and the food culture is so tasty! Big thank you to #visitTrinidad and Visit Tobago for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen! Guide to the things and food in this video: Castara, Tobago - We re beginning this food tour today on the beach with a fish and breadfruit roast. This is something I truly love, being connected with nature, cooking over fire, and seeing the entire process before eating. The breadfruits were some of the best I ve ever had and the fish was marinated and grilled. The fish broth was also spectacular. What a way to begin. Backyard Dirt Oven - Next up we met up with Ms Moore & Wendell for a backyard dirt oven experience. Dirt oven baking is something that s traditional in Tobago and they are keeping the tradition alive. I especially loved the garlic bread and pumpkin bread with cheese. Miss Trim's Kitchen - It there s one dish that s the most famous and a dish you can t leave Tobago without eating, it s crab and dumplings. The crab is curried and the dumplings are hearty and doughy. The combination is delicious! Block 22 - Finally to complete this Tobago food tour we tried the fried chicken sandwich wat Block 22 - one of the late night staples.

If this was a video about Jamaica there would be a salty trini saying that they make the best crab and that they're the best Caribbean country known for crab and any food. theyre the best at everything. Some will even say that the sun belongs to them and reggae is originally from Trinidad #1 country for curry in the world. no evidence that support such claim. nevertheless beautiful food beautiful country and ppl vacations there in January

Come leh we go to Tobago, Mark yuh real pass through, continue to enjoy yourself, sun, sand, seas and enough food, lovely food. My island of Trinidad and Tobago is very beautiful, people are beautiful, friendly, happy and we can cook so continue to enjoy. But remember our food must be 'well seasoned' eh

There is nothing like roasted breadfruit and then after you cut out the flesh you give it a sautee with onions, garlic, sweet and hot peppers and if you want to get extra fancy, do it rundown style and put some coconut cream. You will lick the plate!

Another awesome video. Mark's food reactions are priceless. Tobago is a gem of an island, the nationals just don't know what they have. The people living in Trinidad can jump on a ferry or a plane and visit luvly Tobago and enjoy a food vacation.

I think Mark could make this his home. He seems to extremely love the island, people and food. I don t know how long you spent there Mark but I think when you leave or when you left you felt as if it was not enough time spent there.

This may seem churlish but it's REALLY important for this man's business & for health. You can't use the same brush to base raw fish as you use to dress cooked breadfruit. It's a health hazard & not of the snobby variety.

It's not hidden, nobody can travel. They are going to make it mandatory to have shot's to be able to travel so if you are still traveling you must be getting those shots and you won't be living long. Prove me wrong.

Man did a proper tour of T&T, an actual food adventure unlike what most have done. Much props to Mark for that. A few foods left out, but for what it's worth, almost the full essence and flavour of the twin islands

We are definitely more similar than we are different. Everything shown here is identical to what we do in Dominica. Bravo on a wonderful series. Greeting from the Nature Isle
