24 Hours Best French Food: SUBSCRIBE for more: Les Grands Buffets, located in Narbonne the south of France, is known to be one one of the best buffets in the world - that’s why there’s a 7 month waiting list to get in! On the menu you’ll find a lobster pyramid, all you can eat foie gras, caviar and charcuteries, a huge selection of Auguste Escoffier French foods cooked to order, pressed duck known as canard au sang, a huge hot food station, and the world’s largest cheese board! There’s so much to eat, and such a selection - easily the most French food available to eat in one meal in the world. On top of that, Les Grands Buffets decoration is inspired by none over than Versailles itself with some of the biggest and greatest French art and designers coming to decorate and design the four different dining sections. This truly is the buffet of all buffets! But the question is, for just 62. 90 Euros ($72. 57) per person, how can they serve you all of this Les Grands Buffets Read my friend Jeffrey’s review and buffet strategy here: Thank you to my friend Sophie Brissaud Food and Wine Journalist, Author) for arranging our reservation! The buffet looks incredible; however, I do not understand the concept of sharing my food with someone you are barely acquainted with. Seeing him stick his fork into your food was a turn-off. Why didn't he get his own dish It is an all-you-can-eat buffet after all. I could see married couples sharing dishes, but this I don't understand, and also the lady practically sitting on your lap and breathing down your neck as you sampled the cheese What was that about
I am sure there would be no shortage of food to satisfy my tastes, but I would need to be careful to inspect what is being served. I would not eat Rabbit. Not fussy about eating snails or quail. I would stick to more traditional sources of protein. Of course, you can't go wrong with any of the desserts or fresh bread.
P. S. I'm just watching the end of the video, and that big guy was at it again, sticking his spoon into your ice-cream dessert! Why didn't he just get his own dessert And the lady off camera was also sticking her spoon in some kind of shared dessert in front of you! So unhygienic. This is how diseases spread!

As a french guy who grew up in Narbonne, I can relate we are very proud this buffet is getting more and more known across the world. The fact is that buffet was initially a classic buffet like 20 years ago, pretty low quality, but cheap, incorporated in that municipal complex composed by a bowling, a swimming pool and an ice rink. Families were the target, to practice sport, have fun and eat at the same place; )
But later, the buffets have gone bankrupt, and the new owner created this concept. So it's funny to find this kind of buffet in such a place now haha.
Obviously, with the huge success, the buffet is getting better and better over the years, but I can remember the opening of the new version, it was already high quality food with a good choice with absolutely unbeatable cost/quality ratio: I remember it was maybe around 20/25, like, 10 or 15 years ago.
But yeah guys, it's an experience to live at least once in a life, and little tips: don't eat too much foie gras, it takes too much space in your stomach

nice that you tried the grand buffet de Narbonne
this is the place in france where you can try to most different variety of all our gastronomy i think
this is a place i highly recomand to tourist even if it's on reservation list ( quite long so if foreigners want to try it need to see that 6 months if not more in advance )
and yes le canard au sang is to try!
And yes, les oeufs de lump are not caviar, they come from the fish lump fished in the north of France.

Superb value and certainly a perfect summary of the different 'stars' of traditional French food. Escoffier is considered one of the best French chefs. The only criticism I have is that it is impossible to eat so much food and I would struggle to eat anymore than a simple first course, one main course, some slivers of cheese and one dessert.

I think you need to find a hotel and stay at least three days. Book three days worth and you might get about half of it ate. I've seen this buffet before and it is the best in the world. As we watch you eat across France, you realize when they say France has the best food, they are right. What an amazing place to try all the best.

26: 23Americans: This is TORNADOS Rossini Yeah, it was created for Isabel Rossini
It's 'Tournedos' and 'Isabella' and the dish wasn't created for her at all. It was created for the great 19th century Italian composer Gioachino Antonio Rossini. Whether or not Escoffier actually created the dish is highly debated.

Mark, have not seen your videos in quite a w hile but happy I am back. How do you stay in great physical condition when eating like a glutton
I just don't know how you do it. After that buffet I could not eat for a month. Sadly, all that great food will become feces waste within hours.

FYI - Mark, that was not a jukebox, a jukebox has records in it, tht was a Victrola - SMH - anyway, Jeffrey looked like he fed his face to much when he left the table, came back and was ready to sit down again but walked away to the loo again!

Insane! That is by far the nicest buffet I have seen. (I thought the buffets in Vegas were good! Geez, they look like crap in comparison) I would likely need to fast/ detox for a week after that meal! LOL

Not sure you should eat quail like that. The buffet concept is super interesting with that quality. When you said baba au rum it was a cannolet origin from the bordeaux region

Wow mark, what a place, thanks for sharing!

I do hope people dont leave food on their plates. In USA the throw away 120 BILLIONS of portions every years. Dont say they can't feed the entire world.
