Pls let people know that the Thai little purple garlic will only be available in Thailand. The most beautiful garlic I had ever tasted. whenever I travel to Thailand, I ask my friend's housekeeper fried two big jars for me to take home. It will still be crunchy, fragrance & kept in the fridge for two years.

Here's a tip after the garlic and turmeric have been rubbed into the fish when you remove it to fried pat it dry and the fish will float on the oil no sticking. Looks good never seen the root got to look for it

hey mark, would it have been better to fry the tumeric and garlic first before frying the fish? my only reasoning is so that the oil is infused with the flavors of garlic and tumeric. it looks delicious none the less
