That green coil is the top of a fern shoot. After all these years of adventure eating, you still talk about the food like a rookie. I used to love your foodie adventures but as of late 2015, your lip smacking and open mouth chewing has gotten so bad. Audible smack, smack, smacking on your noodles, tempura and sashimi has been awful. Way too rude. Why are you eating in such a nasty way, as of late? Grotesque and unappealing. Goodbye.

Mark an Ying. I came across your videos whilst being ill for a few months. You really amaze me in all you see and do in your travels. It really feels like I am there with you both. You helped me to recover throughout my illness. A big thank you to you both. you are a breath of fresh air to so many. I wish you luck in all you strive to achieve. Many thanks. Russell. United Kingdom.

LOL
I really like your videos but I have to ask 1) Why do you open your mouth so wide, shove food and take such big bites? Not sure if anyone has said this before, but it looks quite obscene. 2) Why do you over emphasise and roll your R's? It seems like you make a conscious effort to do it, I've seen a few videos where you forgot to do it.

I like this Japanese foods series so much because the series blends traveling (sight-seeing as well) and food-porn elements, unlike others who focus only on one side of the element. Wish you make another videos like this. Taiwan series also good but duration is too short to enjoy at fullest.

Just waiting for Mark to taste a food someday that would make his head turn so far to the left/right that it drops to the floor and still continues to turn so far so that his head starts to sweep the whole entire floor. Then only would we know that the food is really good.

Hei Mark, you are really good on what you are doing. You make me love different foods. With your signature head leaning on the right side of you, makes me believe that the food is really really good, that I really to have a bite right away. Good job man

I love your Japan videos I lived there for 14 years. Re eating sashimi: first put some wasabi in a little bowl with soy sauce and mix them together 'till the wasabi dissolves/blends with the soy sauce, then dip your sashimi in a little of it. Enjoy
