Mark, ever since you started uploading the Singapore food videos, I always cringe at the selection of food of each video. I knew even before watching that you wouldn't like it. The worst of all is eating chicken rice at Tian Tian. When I saw you uploading this video, which feature my favourite supper hangout place, I knew for sure you gonna like it. I haven't even watch the video yet though. So I may be wrong. Fingers crossed

Oh my goodness, I am watching a video you uploaded just today This is a first ever for me on Youtube. I've been binging on your videos since two weeks ago when I stumbled upon your vlogs. Anyway, another great vid. Your description of food you eat is detailed and definitive as always. You are just so great and wonderful at what you do. Awesome

I've not eaten from this stall for like ages after I stopped working in that area. And unless the recipe's changed, Mark ordered wrongly. The correct combo for this particular stall must have are pork chop, pork belly, cabbage and a fried egg. The chicken wing is optional as I personally find it just too much trouble for this dish.

On why the vendor uses scissors. During the olden days when they were still street vendors and Singapore was still part of Malaya. Gangsters roam the streets and fights are very common. So to prevent gangsters from snatching their cleaver during fights, they use scissors instead as a more safety measures.

It still amazes me how you get such a large amount of food for such a small amount of money. Does anyone know if it's relative to what the locals earn and their cost of living? To buy a small chicken breast uncooked from the supermarket it would cost me between US4 to US7.

+ExploreList Hi, it is a common food you can find it easily but not many taste as good as this. This is the only stall I will go to when I have cravings for Hainanese curry rice. The rest of which you can find may not be so delicious and unforgettable.

Mark you should ask for Pork Chop instead of tofu. It is very nice when mix with their gravy. I always order chicken cutlets, braised pork belly, pork chop and cabbage. You enjoy your stay here. Thanks for coming this beautiful island Singapore
