Join me on this incredible Italian food tour in Rome Ross Galan: Of all the places in different countries, you've been to and are going to be, do you really enjoy such places talking about the places you're in? I do not think you really do. Either you explain what the places are and not really appreciate the beauties of the places or just enjoy them without having the trouble of doing the talking. This is good for your viewers but NOT definitely for you even though this allows you some hefty income.

Hi Mark. Loved watching this yesterday evening in preparation for my trip to Rome in 2 weeks. I must say, my wife and I were pretty amused at the looks of shear delite on your face as you were tasting the dishes placed in front of when you were in the restaurant near the end of the video. I've also ordered the same Tshirt as you have from Amazon. Can you recommend any places in particular in the Monti area of Rome at all?

I've heard Italy is a beautiful country, but the waiters at the beginning seemed almost mean and cold, very unfriendly. Maybe it was a tourist hotspot. I've heard that the restaurants are very expensive there, so makes travel expensive. Sorry to say, but he seems to know very little about Italian culture, or European? He's half European (half white) from what I understood. I'm surprised. His last name is German.

Humans are the devil. Imagine saying things like this isnt any human dish, its baby human dish, oh its beautiful, oh yum, oh num num num. Humans carnivores have their logic warped. I still like the show but the normalcy of eating murdered living beings and not caring how they felt or their desire to live and instead glorifying it is sickening.

Eat a prosciutto, with some antipasto, or just, some roasted peppers with an olive, olive oil, and have some grapes, thereafter. I love, prosciutto with roasted peppers, and calamata olives, and, casco di cavalo bread, drizelled with olive oil & oregano, and, of course, a nice Chianti, on the side.

You really have to head off the beaten path in Rome to avoid the brutal tourist trap restaurants and hustlers. Everything they bring to your table you'll pay for unless you tell them not to. The quality of food is VASTLY better as you escape the trattorias near tourist attractions too.

two mistakes you made in Rome Never have breakfast in the hotel Go where the locals go and have a cappuccino and a croissant and save room for lunch Try porchetta and different things Go for the bacala and stay away from touristy restaurants Like the place you had lunch

Living in Madrid, Spain for 42 years now, the dishes you had with Valentina and Antonio in Rome are very Mediterranean (Spain, Italy, Greece) dishes: baby lamb (cordero lechal in Spain, rabbit, etc, coffee after lunch IS very Mediterranean way of finishing off lunches.

Bear in mind Romans as ancient Romans and Italy didn't eat, have pasta/noodles and flavoured ices dessert, was brought in by Marco Polo, journey from Far East. pasta thinks it's Italian, it isn't. Romans staple was bread, other grains, pulses, and polenta cornmeal.

too bad you went first to a tourist restaurant (big menus are never a good sing and extremely red tomato sauce nether cause it's under cooked) and missed the Mercato Central in Termini and the fabulous Arancini and many more delicious Italian street food
