On Day 9 of our trip to Jordan we woke up at the Dead Sea. From the Dead Sea, we drove to the Main Hot Springs, where we would spend the night. For lunch we learned how to cook a simple comfort Jordanian dish known as Mujadara, rice and lentils. In the afternoon we hung out and went to the ho waterfall springs, and then had dinner at the hotel. Overall, it was a pretty relaxing day in Jordan. 01: 35 Touching the Dead Sea - Unfortunately the weather didnt cooperate, and the Dead Sea was very rough, and so the lifeguard told me it wasnt safe to go into the water. I had to settle for putting a little bit of the mud onto my hands, rubbing it around, and then going in for some of the mineral salts as well. The mud of the Dead Sea has so many minerals and is very healthy for the skin. The was able to go into the water just with my feet and wash my hands, but wasnt able to fully go into float. The water was warm and salty. I was disappointed, but thats alright. 04: 50 Dead Sea Panoramic Complex - 2 JD (2. 81) - On the way driving we stopped off at the Dead Sea Panoramic viewpoint, a place on the side of the mountain that offers an incredible view of the Dead Sea and surrounding valley. They also had a rock museum there, which was pretty interesting. 05: 33 Ma'In Hot Springs Resort - We checked into the resort, and got settled and hung out for a little while before it was time to eat lunch. 06: 27 Mujadara for lunch - The Main resort offers cooking classes, and so for lunch we learned to cook a very local and typical Jordanian dish. We had been eating so much lamb on this trip that we decided to keep it pretty simple for the cooking demonstration and make a dish called mujadara. The dish included rice cooked with lentils and spices, then topped with freshly fried pine nuts and onions. We also made an Arabic salad, a salad of cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes, dressed with lemon juice and olive oil. Lunch was very good, and quite simple. I especially loved the freshly deep fried pine nuts and fried onions which gave the entire dish a lovely fragrance and taste. 09: 38 Ma'in Public Hot Springs - After lunch Ying and I decided to go other to the Ma'in Public Hot Springs. It was a pretty nice place, and there was a hot waterfall. I stayed for a few minutes, relaxing in the hot waterfall, and then headed back to the hotel. For dinner we ate at the buffet at the hotel, which was pretty decent. my Amman, Jordan Travel Guide: (Including where to stay, what to see, safety information, and extra tips)

It's actually the lowest place on Earth, and the reason why it helps so many people with arthritis and Fibromyalgia is that when you are well below sea level, you have more air above you, causing the air pressure to be higher. Or you could say the air is heavier which reduces inflammation in the body plus all the minerals are great too. The food looks amazing, and your video has helped me to decide I am going to take my daughter there. My daughter loves Fish, and we both have Fibromyalgia, the healthy food would do us good too, all those lovely salads but I'll have to say no to anything with parsley or coriander herb, both my daughter and I hate those 2 herbs. Apparently, you can inherit food adversity

Well, the Jordanian Tourist Board had a good idea inviting you and Ying. I definitely will vist and other viewers will as well. If you have any information how one would go about to organize a similar tour with a driver/guide and booked hotels, please do add it to your website. First off though, I want to make one of those salads, they look delicious Thank you very much for this series, together with Osaka, it's probably my favorite. I can't wait for the next one, the food in South Africa is supposed to be really good and then there's always Italy and France

the Dead Sea is also supposed to be very therapeutic for your body and your skin and your muscles and everything else just a small note sorry you didn't get to jump in but you look like you're still having an amazing time that's what's most important and just think where you are on this planet if there's anywhere to be it's right there

Very interesting and excellent videos thank you mark. It seems like local Jordanians are missing and can't enjoy what you are showing. I hope some day most of the population will get a chance to experience this beautiful place. My wife and I like to visit but we have to figure out how much it cost to stay in those resorts thank u again.

Can't wait to see Mark eat Mansaf. this is about as Bedouin as authentic as it gets. If he can manage the intense dried goat yogurt flavor (which can shoot up your nostrils with its intensity & pungency) and if he can manage to eat it properly with his bare hands without making a mess, then he's simply a Bedouin but doesn't know it

Trust me, swimming In that pool looked far more fun than being in the Dead Sea. It's a fun experience to do once in your life but it's tricky avoiding getting the salt water in your eyes. Never seen waves on the Dead Sea which looked awesome The hot springs looked so great Thanks for sharing this great adventure with us

The only thing that was weird in this video was that in that hot springs resort your walk-in fridge was just adjacent to your bathroom. That's kinda strange Or maybe It's only me who found it a little bit disturbing. Apart from that I loved your video just like all your videos. Lots of love from India
