Some of the best seafood in Thailand is in Trat, WOW Trat Food: Subscribe for 2 new videos per week: Day 5 (Trat ): Eastern Thailand Food and Travel Tour. Watch all 8 videos here: Trat is a beautiful and relaxed town in Eastern Thailand. The people are friendly and the food is outstanding. But nothing compares to the incredible and giant sized seafood youll find. After eating some street food in the morning, we then met up with the fantastic crew from Trat Food to eat one of the most amazing seafood meals of my life - including giant alien mantis shrimp Kuay Teow Boo Sukhumvit ) - Morning market in Trat is nice to visit but theres not much cooked food to eat. So for breakfast we went to a legendary restaurant for a couple spicy breakfast dishes. Mantis shrimp holy basil ) Crab eggs with chilies ) Price - 50 THB (1. 60) per plate Khao Gaeng San Toong Ek Sinchon ) - If you ask anyone in Trat where to eat spicy curries, many will mention the Shell pump gas station curry restaurant. They serve San Toong style Trat curry here and its amazing. Pork garcinia cowa ) Wild boar curry ) Sour pineapple curry ) Bird curry ) Deer curry )

Whenever you get a chance may I suggest that you go to Ze Frank and check out his vid on mantis shrimp? He focuses a lot on the peacock mantis but he does talk about their abilities. Its amazing how massive they are in size Im also very impressed at how great the prices were. If I were to go to my local restaurant and eat gourmet seafood dishes for myself and six close friends, our bill would probably be 400. Thats not including drinks or desert. I love that youre showing us the parts of Thailand that isnt often seen as a tourist spot. Definitely this is a gastronomic place for me to visit

Imagine if the Canadian Ministry of Health ran Thailand. Every single one of the restaurants and road side stands that you eat at would be shut down due to a multitude of protocol infractions. I'm not saying that inspections are not valid since many places can become cesspools and filthy if there isn't pressure to be clean. Great video. I'm certainly eating vicariously through you

You are awesome My 8 year old daughter is passionate about food and half Vietnamese. We have trouble finding traditional asian foods in our home town. She is basically sitting here taking notes and drooling and LOVES every episode. Next time we go to DC or NYC we are going to be looking for some of the foods in this episode Keep up the good work

Soooo. I was actually liking your video Mark but after all your fake reactions I'm like nah. Every food in every video is the same to you, at 21: 20 there were 3 man with you eating the same as you yet, you're the only one with the leaning forward and closing your eyes and acting as if the food is superb. Not subscribing due to your lack of honesty.
