Xi'an Famous Foods serves amazing food in Flushing, Queens, NYC Subscribe to my channel: my NYC food guide: T-shirts: On Day 31 of our Round The World Trip with Star Alliance we decided to take a New York City food tour to Flushing. The main thing I wanted to eat was at the famous Xi'an Famous Foods for their spicy cumin lamb noodles. But we also enjoyed some incredible dumplings and a rack of cumin coated lamb. It was incredible. 00: 22 Journey to Flushing, Queens - The first part of the day was to take the train from Manhattan out to Queens, and more specifically to Flushing. It takes a while, but its pretty straightforward to get there by public transportation. 1: 42 Xi'an Famous Foods - Located in the basement of the Golden Shopping Mall in Flushing, Queens, Xi'an Famous Foods is a well known Chinese food restaurant with a number of branches throughout New York City. Xi'an Famous Foods was one of the top places I wanted to eat in NYC. At the bottom of the shopping center theres a nice food court, and it really does feel like you transport yourself from NYC to China. I ordered the spicy cumin lamb noodles and an extra side of spicy cucumber salad. The spicy cumin lamb, with hand pulled noodles, was absolutely incredible - one of the best food dishes I ate in all of New York. And the spicy cucumber salad also went superbly with the noodles. The chili oil and the cumin was just absolutely superb

Mark my friend, you should split your meals into multiple days, or perhaps don't finish your meals and sample them instead and give the remains to homeless people, which would make your job even more honorable. Oh, and you should also try some fasting, so for example after all those meals the best dinner option wouldn't have been salad, but rather some Chamomile tea with lemon to help you relax and digest and nothing more. No matter what kind of metabolism you have the human body is not designed to process that much food in a day. You're hurting your digestive system, and intestines. You're young for now but it will have an eventual impact, the Gout is the most known disease to result from high blood levels of uric acid due to consumption of red meat frequently So watch out my friend, your diet is Amazing but the frequency is not human

Mark, you would be proud of my husband. He found a place called Co Sushi in Myrtle Meach SC, we ordered a bowl of ramen noodles with pork belly and egg. He poured on something called Singapore hot sauce and mixed it. He took a few bites and said it's not bad. next thing I know, he's said I need something to stop the fire, lol, but he kept eating it. I told him Mark would be proud

Mark I really love your videos, but your are not showing videos on people that are veggie eaters, nor kid friendly, as far as kid's nutrition. Is this not your forta, Ithink if you make a food video that you should include every detail about every thing that you eat from people who are plant eaters, to kids who are anything they eat, instead of you being a meat lover(Thank-You)

True story: I use to watch videos while I eat. Gradually I had digestion problem because I am not salivating enough. then I had this path breaking idea. to watch cuisine videos while I eat. Now I have no problem with digestion. Also I reduced watching videos while eating and just focusing on the food. Mark's videos will give me the appetite any time of the day. Thanks a lot Mark

Dude, I like the fact that you enjoy salads too. I do not think that a foodie can be a true foodie that dun also enjoy his greens. food bloggers I think have to do vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food items so people can know what the nice food choices are that fit their diet needs.

Thank you for taking us to all these dumpling places. Sorry to say the dumpling order plate you order looks so pale and the wrap looks so messy, wrinkle and uneven shape. And the order is not a to go order but they serve you in a paper plate. Just not look appetizing to me, so no thank you.

Love that beautiful plate of lamb noodles I used to love eating those exact Xi'an wide noodles & cucumber salad in Beijing. Makes me wanna go back to eat those, but now I know I can always just fly to NYC to get some

Webster's dictionary should add some of the words you use; ie. beautifulness. I was born and raised in the Bronx but have taken many trips to Queens. I never knew the was a China Town in Queens. Live and learn.

Oh, Mark. that lamb looked so yummy I'm jealous, but most of all I like seeing you and Ying on your travels. Your little man, Micah, is very blessed to have you two for parents. What a life he will have. :)
