I think that if I was to visit there I would asimilate very quickly to the food since i think its almost similar to Mexican food like the the organ soup and the crispy pork, we have menudo and chirraron, just that the menudo it red and a little spice and than you add chopped onions and lime.

There was a thai restaurant here in south sacramento that was owned by an old thai couple that spoke very broken english. they would serve this noodle dish and it was incredible. Unfortunately their old fashion traditional thai dishes weren't appeling enough for the hipsters.

next time you come visit Jakarta Indonesia you can try indonesian best roasted pig (batak style): BPK / Babi Panggang Karo. its roasted pig with indonesian spices, and served with lime, plus a hearty peppery soup. the dipping condiment is made from pig blood

Mark a real actual keuy jab is created by chinese Teochew clan. It should be served with lots of soy stewed pork skin, duck and dark soy egg with fried garlic. call me if you are in malaysia KEDAH state. we are just 150km from hadyai.

Here in Denmark, we allso eat a version of pork belly for christmas, it a roast with more meat under the skin, cooked in the oven for 1, 5 hours, served with potatoes, sugarcoated/brown potatgoes, sauce and red cabbage. delicious

In Costa Rica we have a dish called Chifrijo which is rice, kidney beans, pico de gallo (tomato onion cilantro salad) and lots of fried pork, which we call chicharron. You should try it when you come.

Was just there at Mr. Joe's yesterday. Sooooo yummy I was a bit surprised they did not have the dark broth version of the Guoy Jub offered. But the original they have is absolutely AMAZING

Of all the crispy porkbelly I have seen eaten around the world by Bourdain, Zimmern, the Food Ranger and Mark Wiens and everybody, this stands out. It looks incredible.
