On Day 10 of our Bhutan food and travel trip, we were back in Thimphu for a couple days. For lunch we headed to Momo Corner, a famous restaurant that serves some of the best momos in Thimphu, Bhutan. Momo Corner - This restaurant is one of the most famous restaurants in all of Thimphu, and His Majesty the King of Bhutan is even known to come by for some momos every now and then. Momos are the Himalayan version of dumplings, available from Tibet to Nepal to India and they are very popular in Bhutan. The momos and the atmosphere at Momo Corner was fantastic. Bhutanese Archery - Did you know the national sport of Bhutan is archery? After eating momos we had a chance to watch some archery competitions at the archery grounds in Thimphu. The Bhutanese - For dinner we ate at The Bhutanese for traditional Bhutanese food. Overall, the food was good, but similar to many other meals that we ate on this trip to Bhutan. Disclosure: It was an honor to be invited by MyBhutan to visit Bhutan to explore Bhutanese food and culture. Thank you to MyBhutan Productions for making my trip and this video possible Do you want to explore Bhutanese cuisine in Bhutan? Go to to book your exclusive food tour with MyBhutan

Normally I get bored after eating momos and I actually even don't prefer it when m in restaurant with friends. But today Mark opened my eyes and OMG when I directly went to a nearby restaurant which is famous for momo and other Tibetan cuisines to eat momo after watching this video of Mark. I am speechless and I can't even express how enjoyable I felt while eating it and after eating it, which m currently writing this comment for you guys and to Mark specially. (Humble Man. I love you brother.

Mark really looks happy travelling to places like Bhutan and Ethiopia. I know that the food in Bhutan is relatively buttery and cheesy, but objectively speaking, I notice there are few fat/obease people in Bhutan. I think the beef/buffalo jerky and the veggies balance out the diet. Vit C from the chilis balance out the diet. I notice no or few sugary foods. There are comparatively more fat people in the arab world.

Hi Mark, You should try coming to Manipur. You will the food there. After seeing your videos I have to a conclusion that you will love our food. Please do try to come to Manipur. It lies in Northeastern India, sharing the border with Myanmar. We have one of the spiciest chilli in the world and almost all dishes are spicy and salty, the kind that you like. Please do come and I promise that you will love it.

Mark Please explain what you mean when you say lite soy sauce. Is it low sodium or are there light and dark soy sauces out there? I love your videos and have been attempting to recreate your recipes for over a year now. Still confused about the soy sauce. I get so lost and overwhelmed in my local asian makets sauce aisles. PLEASE HELP Thanks.
