do you eat so much chilis to boost your metabolism or because of its ability to kill bacteria and other things like that? because i think that amount of heat kills all flavor. all your going to get is burn and a numb mouth and no real flavor. ill try it again but that's my experience with lots of hot peppers and hot sauces it kills flavor and boost metabolism and kills most food born illness potentials. long time fan thought I'd finally ask maybe I get an answer maybe not. you should go to Peru during the first week or second week of September and go to lima and see Mistura food festival I went last year it's great Peru is a country that I feel mastered the heat their hot sauces generally don't overpower the flavor of food they accent it. arequipa nd cusco also had great food. but Mistura was an amazing sight very unique its the largest food festival in south America if not the world. try the cuy and every thing else amazing food i wish i had known more Espanol, maybe i will get to go again.

Mark although I seriously can't stand your facial expressions most of the time ---- I still watch your blogs daily. I can't sleep until I have seen them. I must have watched each travel video 3 times. my fave was the one day trip in indonesia where u guys sat on the floor & they put the rice on a long banana leaf plus diff curries alongside. I have seen that blog about 10 times. 2nd fave is Korean series where u & Ying were invited by the tourism ppl to promote North Korea. Loved it I dunno why ppl are whinging about Nepal ---- I absolutely loved it. It gave me a chance to visit Nepal without leaving home. The food may have been the same due to extreme weather conditions etc but the beautiful mountains, rivers etc were a delight for the sore eyes. Thanks for your great videos.

Hi Mark. I chanced upon your old videos from 6 years ago and I must say your reactions back then were very subtle. Very realistic. Not hating at all. In fact, I'm just curious: Are the over-the-top reactions something you've acquired over time or do you simply do it as a distinctive style? As a viewer, my honest opinion is that the 'kid in the candy store' reaction for everything does not work. It reduces your accountability. Which is sad since the food looks so good visually. Just my two cents as a viewer. Keep making great content

every place/country has its unique culture, people, and food. authentic food/ or staple food, also location and weather contributes spicificaly on what kind of food the people adapt to produce, if you stay in a place long time enough you will also eat the same food, i think this bhutan series keep a good feature on how the people prepare, present thier food and stuffs but in varieties of ways according to each village, even to others they see as all the same thing but their is a distinc feature in each one,

Mark wein should know how to put food in his mouth. it looks so ugly. every single time seeing him making his eyes roll big and make such a wide open mouth to take all food at a time in his mouth his yukkiii. as a viewers, every single time i see his same style taking food in mouth make me feel throw up almost. please try to be little gentle when you eat. its not about you only. it about the people who can see you. otherwise, other thing are ok in his video.

Hi Mark i have liked your Bhutan videos and especially the home stays with the simple food etc. however that has been bothering me through this series is that you seem to be smothering everything in Ezay and a lot of it. with so much spicy sauce how can you even taste the food. it is after all a condiment and not the main dish. it's difficult to imagine you tasting anything apart from all that Ezay and it's spiciness

I don't see anything boring when you explore the country as it is. you stay in different places with different people so it just that if you think it is the same thing not take it on its merit anything can be boring. As we know it is more of food explore video than places so you have to give correct expectation to the explorers rather than make it more or less. Like the Bhutan videos, all of them.

Mark, I do enjoy your You Tube food videos, but lately I find it so annoying ( the sound of the spoon between your mouth and teeth, chewing your food like a cow, some force smiles on your face ). Keep in mind your entertaining food videos are being viewed not just in Asia but also in most western countries. Didn't mean to offend you or your many viewers. This is just my observations. Good day.

My friends and I like to play a drinking game while watching Mark's videos. Every time he leans we take a drink or whenever he says hot and fresh etc. One video where he was about to eat a burger we decided to have a drink every time he said juice or juices The video was only around 8 minutes long but we had to pause it for a refill

Very interesting; In general people tend to get mad if they do not get what they want. This is a prime example of that. They don't get to see the videoclips they want to see (more exiting stuff, different kind of foods etc, they obviously get mad and then go. all out on everything Mark does and is. What a shame.
