since this is indeed one of the oldest still running oldstyle cooking spots in a town which looks nothing like it did when this little place opened up. When this place opened up the surrounding buildings and neighbourhood was actually the real old AThens with the neoclassical architecture which u can see in old recordings. Since early 2000 they have been disproportionally to any kind of reasoning infiltrating the center with thousands of incoming immigrants from Asia and Africa. Nothing looks like Athens anymore. The title should be the last Greek cooking spot ( well this is not called a tavern) in new Bangladesh or something like that. Well at least this place doesn't seem to care nor notice what happens around it.

I had my annual checkup at my doctor a month before we went to Greece. After we spent a month in Greece and came back to the US, my doctor couldn't believe my bloodwork was so perfect. He praised me for finally taking control of my health. I swear thst i didnt do anything. This all happened because of the Mediterranean diet I was exposed to in Greece. Every delicious mesl was accompanied by a Greek salad. Every meal had fish. Multiple side dishes with eggplant, peppers etc. For desert we were served yogurt with honey or watermelon. The diet made all the difference

This vlog reminded me of when i was 13 and i had made some friends on the beach. I could barely speak english or greek and they ofc werent that much better with their english. But we played everyday together and they showed me some cool places around their town and similar restaurants and street food shops. One of the other kids was the son of a chef in one of the restaurants and in the evenings he gifted us some free foods and sweets while we were sitting down there in the kitchen. The places you showed us strongly reminded me of back then

I apologise if this sounds mean but I am 99% sure that this man is a transgender female to male and his partner is a trans woman male to female. Most likely the host the man gave birth to the baby. I have noticed many transgender couples do travel videos and they are married to Asian trans women. Milk and his friend are both transgenders as are their wives. The tran men give birth to the children.

I don't know whether my dream will come true but a part of it can be fulfilled with your food and travel videos especially I was touched wholeheartedly with Jerusalem's and Athens videos. Ohh that was amazing. Thank you. I want to meet you your cute family if possible.

Anyone will love meat wrapped in bread lmao. You eating that in front of the camera doesnt make it special in any way lol. Ofcourse its tasty, lebanese food, arabic and greek are all tasty because they mainly use cheese, mayo, olive oil, fried potato and grilled meat. Unless something wrong with your taste buds, that's obviously a heavenly combo.

Can we have more tourists like you, pleaseeee? Can you make a tourist school to train them before they come here? Seriously, I haven't seen many tourists (and I work in tourism sector) being so respectful and excited at the same time. Also, you couldn't have chosen better restaurants/taverns for the center of Athens.

Nice positive, happy and smiling person Next time to Greek islands with nice traditional food. No Mykonos, no Santorini, very nice but many tourists you must go in small Greek islands with really traditional food and beautiful beaches and clean water. Thanks for visiting Greece.

Mark, what an amazing trip and food experience. Reminds me of a Greek community of Hillcrest Queens, NY. We had our own Greek Store. You are right, Greek people are very hospitable, nice and family oriented. Shout out to Hillcrest Queens, a pleasant place to live. Home-sick NOW
