Beef fire pot restaurant: Free eBook: T-shirts: 00: 29 Day trip to Bang Krachao ) - One Day 11 of this Bangkok video travel guide series, we decided to head over to Bang Krachao, which is a quiet area, across the river from Bangkok. Its a good place to rent a bicycle, and a place that feels like youre far removed from the city, yet youre literally just across the river, so you can see all of Bangkok. We first headed to Wat Bang Krachao Nok Pier ) and caught a boat across the Chao Phraya river. From there, Ying and I rented bicycles, and biked around for a while. We didnt actually do too much, but the beauty of going there is just biking on the elevated walkways - its really beautiful. We stopped for a couple snacks including a wood apple, which are not easy to find in Bangkok and I love them We also had a couple Thai desserts before heading back on the boat back to Bangkok - the big city. 7: 26 Heng Chun Seng ( ) - For lunch we headed to Heng Chun Seng (, an awesome Thai beef fire pot restaurant. Ying and I were so hungry after the bicycle ride, that we ended up eating not just one, but two flaming hot beef fire pots. They are delicious. We had one maw fai ruam, which is a beef fire pot with everything includes, and then we also had a maw fai neau buay, which is only the beef - if you prefer no organs mixed in, this is the one you should order. They also serve Thai pork satay, which is pretty delicious here too. For more details about this Thai beef restaurant, check out my review here: 15: 18 Khlong Toey Market ) - One of the biggest and most exciting fresh market in Bangkok is Khlong Toey Market, and its busy throughout the day and night. After having our flaming beef fire pots, we took a stroll though Khlong Toey Market, and enjoyed the atmosphere and the colorful pandamonium of everything. Its a great fresh wet market to walk around when youre in Bangkok. We stopped for a couple snacks, including some sweet tamarind and some grilled banana - which are one of my favorite snacks on the streets of Bangkok. 20: 07 Dinner at Vietnamese and More, and Kiew Muang Jeen ) - Ying and I didnt really have any dinner plans, but then Dwight called me and we ended up going to a friends restaurant called Vietnamese and More. I ordered the Xui Mai Meatball with Tomato Sauce Banh Mi, which was delicious - it had been a while since I had a meatball sub. We then headed to Kiew Muang Jeen ) for some Chinese food. The food was alright, not amazing, but the eggplant fries were the best

Wow. another superb presentation mark. that sandwiches. you had at the Vietnamese & more. really made my mouth watered. and the makwit. that you had earlier in the video. is similar to the one that I normally have at my place (Terengganu. Malaysia. but it is called. tepung bungkus. anyway. again. I really enjoyed myself watching this video. good job Mr Mark. come to my place. I'll show you more Malaysian local foods. especially in Terengganu.

Hey Mark. I flew to bangkok from China just to follow your recommendation on the food that you eat and blog. I tried the eating at Heng Cheung sen. the food was good but I dont think it was that good to make my eyes as big yours and didnt make me say your signature catch word wow I honestly thought it would make my eyes so big as yours and say wow but I was disappointed on the result. aside from this food was good

hi mark, when you taste sweet tamarind, it reminds me of my boy days. my grandparents had medium rice farmland and a fruit plantation such as mango, lemons, pineapple, jack fruit, tamarind etc semi-ripped tamarind is more sweet and raw and over ripped tamarinds are sour. enjoy your videos. thank

eat the seeds from wood apple might get you constipated. ha ha ha. just chew it lightly and spit the seeds out (same go with the tamarind. I like to scrape the fruit meat near the wooden shell. Taste really good. I stripped it clean I got to visit Thailand soon good job, Mark.

In India especially in West Bengal and even in Bangladesh the wood apple is called koyet bel/kot bel in Bangla. Its very sour in taste. And we eat it like a street side pickle mixer with sugar, salt, chilli and chopped corriendar leaves. Its a mouth watering pickle.
