Lucky enough to find sheeted gelatin? That's barely the only gelatin we use in norway and I watched another video today where they said something like -or you could use vanilla powder (instead of extract) but it's harder to come by and more expensive, and I'm like -whatt? - Because we only use powder here, and vanilla extract is so expensive and you have to go to special stores to get it. Honestly I would even go as far as saying just a few towns in the whole country actually have it.

WAY too much sugar in this recipe! This is a diabetes bomb. -Do you really need to add sugar in the base (the chocolate is already sweet, in the ganache (same thing with the chocolate, in the whites (you already added sugar to the ganache even if it didn't need more sugar, why add even more. I mean, this cake can be made with 3x less added sugar.

he waste so much from that it seems like, maybe hes making another batch? but the way he cut out the cake! and so un-carefull with the eggs. i mean, he's the head pastry chef at some nice place, but he also makes me worried about the cake.

I like people like you. -Eat to live not the other way around. -Taste is primary in food. looks are first impression-but overall experience is what makes or breaks it. -If the taste isn't pleasant you won't want it again.

I don't understand how Americans can use cups it's not accurate at all switch to the metric system it's actually accurate. I mean cups are different and how do u measure 1, 2, 3. cups of butter or 1 cup of chocolate?

Looks great. No better time then now to make a cake that takes 3 hours. I imagine all that wasted cake and ganache will be given to your colleagues however, why wasn-t this recipe tailored for your intended audience -

My favorite part is how much cake is left over in the pan, you could make mini versions of this cake and surround the big one with them, like a duck with it's ducklings. OR! --Jumbo chef's table scrapes. -

shut up with all your's waste and expensive cake, really. just make a square cake so u don't need to waste half of it. I'm sure the stuff eat that shit and don't complain about some cake edge.

This is the longest process of baking I've ever seen. and to all of you hating about cups please just stop and go find a video with your measurement system or translate it yourself

My ma never made chocolate cake. She made tiramisu, marble cake (Marmorkuchen, poppy seed cake (mohnkuchen) or kalter Hund (cold dog, it's a German -cake-)
