they had me up until the -jellied eel-! its looks as though the eel is covered in snot! no sale, gov nah! --dishes such as these are the reason youll never see restaurants popping up around the world specializing in British cuisine. ---whose up for a bowl of hog snot stew, with a butt pimple pie dessert.

I'm always stunned to see this notion that jellied eels are a staple of English cusine. -As a 40 year old British guy, not once have I EVER seen them. Not in restaurants, supermarkets, pubs, never spoken about by other people, not even in a frickin cook book! -Were this came from I don't know.

You've just got to admire a man who thoroughly enjoys what he's doing without so much as a smile on his face! Jolly old bloke, this old codger! Nice to see him bustling about his kitchen like an old hag, but absolutely love what he's doing while at it!

. And I thought liver and onions was the most revolting meal ever. Not taking away from your skill and attention to detail, but. No way. Jellied eels? Barf! We Yanks would be terrified of this. Even if it tastes amazing. Cheers mate.

Love this. Did he boil hot water from the tap? In that water is heavy metal particles, which can over longer periods cause lead contamination in your blood and damage your nervous system and brain, it might kill you. Lovely!

What was wrong with our unique and rich culture? Why did we have to smash it up? Why has no other culture smashed itself up with inferior, less tolerant, less humorous versions? Why did we let them do that to us?

Anywhere else in the world: something good and appetizing to eat. Britain: jellied eel with the skin on, mashed potatoes, hideous green parsley sauce, and watery beef that looks exactly like diarrhea.

Amazing to watch this type of craftsmanship and that's what it is nowadays, you never get that type of old school cooking and prep. Great to see this is still going!
