Paco travels to San Antonio to try the puffy taco, a fried and puffed San Antonio specialty. He starts at Taco House, talking with sisters and co-owners Rose and Rochelle about how to make the perfect puffy taco. Then Paco heads over to Lala's Gorditas to chat with chef Steve Pizzini about the perfect mesa for the puffy taco. Then he meets up with local legend Diana Barrios Trevi o and gets a first hand account of what makes a perfect puffy taco. Created in partnership with Camarena Tequila.

Hrm. Looks great. We lived in Houston in 1983 and afterwards we started frying our flour tortillas in oil for our tacos. In a skillet, not like a deep fryer. Dunno where my parents got the idea, but it is amazing. Kinda like a thinner chalupa shell. Would love to try a puffy taco!

I'm from Corpus Christi: these are tourist traps. As a native Texan, I'm kind of offended y'all put this nonsense on an episode.
We got Mexican tacos and cuisine in Texas to rival absolutely anything found anywhere.
We got food carts that blow this stuff out the water.

Everyone needs more than there salary to be financially stable. The the best thing to do with your money is to lnvest it rightly because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.

At around 10: 00 the woman mentions the Germans in Texas. My mother was born to German immigrants on Honest Ridge near Waco. I'm curious how German culture influenced food there.
