Cream is expensive, why the hell would you pour it into a giant pot of boiling water and then pour it down the drain. I can assure you your potatoes are not -infusing- with very much cream. You can just -infuse- them at the end when you mash them with a few tablespoons of cream, instead of pouring half a cup down the drain.

There is like no way what so ever this chick works as a -chef- on boats. I worked in all types of restaurants and butler service to very rich people throughout New England and never met a cook/chef that was so devoid of experience. She has gotta have another job that services the clientele.
