Chef George Weill of Paris's La Marmite and flamenco singer Pepe Linares of Sevilla, Spain, show us how to make the best seasonal paella. But no two paellas are alike, and there are times, like today, when you can't predict what you'll find in the classic dish

One of the big events in my neighborhood is when our neighbors invite people over for Paella. He makes it on his charcoal grill, in this giant, ancient paella pan. He uses shrimp, chorizo, andouille, and chicken for meats. Its absolutely delicious and a huge production we all come and enjoy. Is it -true paella-? No. Hell, our neighbors are croatian! Is it better than anything I've had in Spanish restaurants? Yep. Chill out with whether food is -authentic- enough.

Munchies, guys. Leaving aside the fact that that dish is not paella, I have to say that it does not even look fine: too many ingridients, the pan is too small to cook it all, the rice does not seem to be properly cooked and apears to be too wet (paella is dry rice dish. Try and look for a better version cause this guys didnt get ir right.

God forbid that someone other than people from Valencia tries to make Paella for lunch. Can you imagine people from all around the world trying to cook recipes from a country or region that's not their own? --Oh, the horror of cosmopolitanism and intercultural communion.

There are many different ways of making paella, but the fact that Muchies picked two french speaker guys to show the world how to cook it. it really hurt. Omar Allibhoy from Jamie Oliver does it the way we eat it in Spain! ;)

Why is America so uncluttered! in every country in the world is a must that you learn the language and culture of neighboring countries. Fk anyone who-s says Mercia. Don-t forget Rome was much more powerful at one time

this had me cracking up around 4: 00, i mean the water is on the very brim about a millimeter from spilling over, and this guy's like, -hold up, let me just add in the shrimp--couldn't have gotten a more shallow pot.

Every time i see wherever that isn't Valencia the word paella i get scared. But this one is the wierdest one i've never seen. Fish, meat all in one and spinach. Please, don't do this: '(

The older guy seems Spanish, the other guy has a very strong southern French accent, south of France borders with east of Spain where Paella originates from. makes sense to me.

so they basically made the broth in the paella pan: D that's a good way. though the process to 'fry' the rice in the fried ingredients step is omitted. and. what is yellow rice.

also where is the smoked paprika that is traditionally used? -and when I cook paella, it doesn't come out in such a nice yellow color, it looks a bit orange maximal.
