I always watch these Munchies episodes, and no disrespect to Josef and his entourage, but this episode was so lackluster that it may be the first time I've seen a Munchies episode that I have no desire to learn more about the Chef's places or his food. --Maybe it's the Chef's lack of energy, or clear vision in presenting his -philosophy-, or maybe the format of these shows have grown stale, but I have no desire to even try his food based on this episode. --Even as I write this, I have forgotten everything I just seen, and that's a bad thing coming from a hardcore foodie like myself who will eat anything. --I even go so far as saying this is -bad publicity- the way this episode was done. ugh

Everyone has their own version of what a good night out is. They were a very tame bunch compared to most of the other episodes but it felt genuine so I appreciated it the same way I appreciate the more turned up episodes. They were being themselves. I thought it served as a good leveler for the more crazy episodes where the chefs are sick drunk & going to strip clubs lol. Let's just call this one a palette cleanser.

Best part was the Alimento bits I staged for Zach for a week got yelled at Chef Adrian was the Garde Mange that was training me then my life changed overnight when a really bad accident kind of ruined my dream of being a professional cook. C'est la vie. Best Week of my life honestly, Chef Ivan too he's the best.

Didn't know L. A. had a downtown area. Everyone I've spoken to who have either originated or lived in the L. A. area for a decent length of time all said L. A. is too disparate and spread out to have an acknowledged downtown area. Oh well, they must all be wrong about that.

This group of people is so boring. I don't know if they are all individually boring, but for a group of friends they don't have much of a rapport or established banter.

nothing wrong with not talking, I have social anxiety too. At least they don't feel like they have to make a fool of themselves to be comfortable

Definitely one of the most down to earth, non-annoying groups featured on this show. Not a bunch of annoying drunkards stumbling around all night
