Coming from a north side Chicagoan, this place is trash. Came here once and never again. They charge an arm and a leg for some dry chicken which is average at best. We paid like 6 dollars for mac n cheese served in a ketchup cup, how shameful. Tiny portions for big bucks. Take your money elsewhere. I'd rather go to Popeyes than this place. If you want real fried chicken, hit up a Chicago's west side soul food spots, not this raunchy hipster wannabe fried chicken.

TLDR? --A couple of rich white hipsters jack a cuisine of a minority, make it posh and hipstery (and thus acceptable to a certain class) and get rich off of it. As is happening all over the Western world. Most of these people couldn't operate a toaster ten years ago before this fashion emerged, but they're now all 'chefs'. --That said, I would demolish that honey butter chicken, sounds good.

This place is wack. I went in with no expectations and walked out with an over priced meal that didnt even fill me up. The honey butter -sauce- isnt even worth the trip. U can make it at home

When I was in Chicago I asked some locals what's better, Louella's or Honey Butter for Fried Chicken, I was told Louella's by some and chose it. I think I made the wrong choice.
