Like very informative like ya know? I'm like a bento enthusiast like for a long time and like I've enjoyed like a TON of videos. This doesn't rank in like my top 10, but like she had some info that is like educational. If you like glean the good part you can like ignore some of her like annoying habits of like speech. I muted it like halfway through. Actually, I'd like to go through and count a certain word she uses like A LOT.

I have some questions. Elena put raw eggs into boiling water, and they immediately split. Is there a purpose behind this, compared to the western method of heating up the eggs in the water to keep them whole? She also uses metal pointed chopsticks in a nonstick pan, you can hear the scraping sound. Why is this? Are they a special metal that doesn't scratch the pan?

I-ve been trying to learn how to make bento for so long, but the videos and websites I-ve been to never list the ingredients, and I was ready to give up until. BEHOLD! I found her! Elena THANK YOU! I wanted to try and make bento but I didn-t know any traditional ingredients for it until now! You-re awesome, thank you so much!

I love when asian chefs try to say you can just get this at -any asian food store-. No, you can't get it at any asian food store. Stop clumping all food stuffs into -any aisan food store. - I doubt most people could even find all those ingredients in most Japanese stores.

All of the comments describing this as -Zen-, and using random Japanese words that you learned from anime, are a bit embarrassing. She's just a person making lunch, who happens to be of Japanese ancestry. Please stop being creepily essentialist about it.

I just described Elena to someone as the Bob Ross of cooking. She's so soothing, and really chill about her recipes, and doesn't care if she forgets something or makes a mistake, but everything she makes looks beautiful. Basically, I love her.

This Bento box was a half assed attempt. there are really beautiful looking ones out there. -What the child opens a beautiful Bento box, the child is reminded of his/her mom. Its the mom's way of telling their child how loved they are.

I really like this chef. She explains the steps really well and adds her own story. Seems like she knows her stuff. I rewound so many times to make my own bento with some of these dishes. and added my own Bajan fishcakes!

So she's a asian wanna be, who cares! She loves what she is doing and shes enjoying the culture. I don't think she deserves the hate shes getting in the comments at all. She loves Japan and it seems she made a great career out of it!
