I haven't watched a Chef's Night out in forever. It's usually always some lame pretentious hipster group or someone that needs subtitles. Finally happy to watch a real enjoyable episode with authentic folks again. The food looked great too.

I love African food ( especially Ethiopian) and I think things like Plantain are good and more tasty substitutes for potatoes for example. Jamaican style rubs/marinades for meat with their blend of spices - delicious.

I agree with her. New York is a ROUGH place to be. I-ve lived here all my life and wonder all the time what-s the point of fighting for survival in this city when its doing everything in its power to get you out.
