Montreal's own! I'm so proud! I remember when I was working near St-Laurent street at a corner store ( on St-Dominique, Dave would come in (and he was twice the size back then) with his dirty apron looking for produce because he'd just run out. I think he was working for The Globe or Le Blanc back then and I had no idea he and Fred would become as big as they are now.

These guys! Their dry nonchalant manner was silently killing me. -Here's the oil. .. that was supposed to go there. -Salt, from the recipe. -If I made this at home, I would put in a spoonful of ketchup. Whhhhhy ketchup? -It breaks up all the sugars. .. from the ketchup you didn't put in. -At home, I would just use spit.

My wife is Ukrainian she makes Pelmini all the time, and I'm Canadian, I don't really feel the Quebecoise essence in this dish, but good job overall, what's not to love? it's Pelmini and Lobster with a nice sauce from the shell, bravo dish, but not Quebecoise cooking during the apocalypse.

What about oysters and Yuzu? That-s definitely found in japan, and a very close relative to lemon. I don-t understand the logic. Just because it doesn-t come from the same area, doesn-t mean they can-t work. There can be substitutes for everything that can work.

I like these dudes the one making the noodles is funny. but I hope (im almost sure) he isn't using spit to close the noodles - home this looks good carrot juice kinda threw me for a second but the presentation is a 10

Stopped watching after they said lemon and oysters don-t go together just because they aren-t harvest near each other, that has to be some of the dumbest shit I-ve ever heard pretentious shitheads

These guys are great. The dry humor and thoughtful explanations are in perfect balance. Munchies needs more chefs like these, vs. hipsters from Brooklyn making -Southern Inspired- terds.

Their humor is meh. And I love it that they just don-t get why people use ingredients that just wasn-t there: like oyster and lemons, but lobster and pork grows together. in the sea.
