In this episode of Chef-s Night Out, some of Peru-s most famous chefs-Jaime Pesaque of MAYTA and Virgilio Mart-nez of Central-hit the streets of Lima with Erik Ramirez of Llama Inn. They start the night off with eucalyptus-smoked cocktails at MAYTA, then venture further down Avenida La Mar, a street known for its vast number of restaurants, where they make a stop at Jos- Del Castillo's restaurant Las Reyes for small bites and Pisco sours. They finish the night off with Nikkei food at M-ketto, street-side anticuchos, and live music and dancing back at MAYTA

That's not real Peruvian food. That's just some foodie spinoff shit. Real godfather of Peruvian food is Cucho La Rosa, you should take a look at the real side of Peruvian food too.

I'd love to see more of these guys, or more people like them--down to earth, not pretentious, even though extremely renowned, which has been the case in a lot of these vids.

Nice! I live close by and have tried Mayta, the anticuchos on the corner, and Maketto. Pretty cool to eat in the same places as these Chefs. when I can afford it; )
