I love your video. I also appreciate your plugging where you got your scallions and to support local corner stores/restaurants. Tough year for everyone but we will get thru it. We do not have a Korean Restaurant in my town here in Upstate. So I watch you and Maangchi to learn to how make my food at home. Not the same as a good restaurant. Red Chili in Elizabethton, TN is my favorite ever. I think, if I ever got down to NYC I would love yours, too. Peace and Prosperity, my friend. Feb 2 will turn a new corner for you and your business. Man this gives me the feels.
As a Korean American, my childhood was basically being ostracized by white people then by Koreans. Hung out with the black kids and Mexican kids cause they cared less about what language i spoke, accents or my heritage. having no real place to belong to truly sucks. Especially now, racism against asians is at a full swing right now. thanks c19.

When he said what he said about this just being who he is, it hit home. As a Japanese American, I have always felt that I don t fit in perfectly either here or in Japan. But it s my identity, so no choice but to lean into both sides with pride.

The dish looks good and all, but really shouldn't be called Korean. Not tryin to judge or hate, but seems to me like it's more of a well-orchestrated combination of multiple cultures. In that sense, the dish actually seems to best represent the U. S. if anything.

Chop cheese wasnt just Harlem and Bronx. Brooklyn and queens was doing this at same time. All these food shows just go off of other food videos. Ask the locals and they will tell you.
